I ate breakfast in a market in Oaxaca and had chocolate caliente de agua (hot chocolate made with water) with pan yema (bread with egg yolks as one of the ingredients) to dunk, then enfrijoladas con pollo (tortillas dipped in black bean sauce and wrapped around chicken, garnished with cebolla (onion) and queso fresco (crumbly cheese). Enfrijoladas (without the chicken and garnishes) are one of the first foods fed to babies here.I ate lunch in the market in Ocotlán and had molletes (potatoes and chorizo wrapped in a tortilla and fried), garnished with lechuga (lettuce), guacamole, salsa verde and queso fresco.I didn't get a photo of the mango with limón, salsa and chile which was the healthy part of today.
